Planning your LED project
If you ever thought adding multiple LEDs to a project was out of your league, this calculator should take a lot of the guess work out of your project.
Simply enter your values starting with your power supply. Ie what type of batteries.
Secondly, you will enter your forward voltage. Clicking the "?" Will give you the color of your LED and the voltage it runs at.
Next, you will enter your forward current, which runs in milliamps. You may enter "20" for a typical 3 or 5mm unless you are running some kind of high powered LED.
Then you input how many LEDs you will be running.
Lastly, I selected view output as wiring diagram. It pretty much lays it all out for you in a few different ways. It will also tell you if any resistors are needed and where to place them.
A very helpful site indeed.
