Avatar Aang - All Grown Up

I've been wanting to do this custom for a LONG time. The hardest part was finding the right figures to use. Here is Avatar Aang as an adult. Also with him is adult Blue Spirit now an actual ally with Aang. I also have young Aang with teenage Aang.

I used Zartan's head and G.I. Joe resolute Stormshadow's body. I had to sand down the shoulders/collar bone a bit to not make him look like he was all neck. Then painted the figure in shades of orange for the pants and skin tones for the upper body and light blue for the tattoos like he's in the Avatar State.

This figure was a big hit with my family. I let one of my cousins borrow my Avatar dvd's and she and her kids LOVED it. Then she let my aunt and uncle borrow it so that they can watch it with their grandkids and THEY loved it.

Last night, I went to my uncle's 60th birthday party and took this figure to show my cousin and her kids and the loved it. Her daughter wants me to make one for her. :)

Showed it to my uncle and aunt and they LOVED it. I was shocked how much my aunt love the show. After seeing some of the episodes, she just went out and bout the dvd's. My uncle just went on about how he loved the series. It was shocking that he loved it so, because like my dad, he is VERY strict about what children watches in his house. MORE strict than my dad I think. So the series is a hit with my family and they loved my grown up Aang. :)
