i got into these little glyos toys back in september and have not gotten into anything like these since i re-picked up transformers for the first movie

Love these things as well (bought a huge lot from someone over a year ago) and have a few custom built ones I have been meaning to paint for ages. Nice dye jobs and paint apps, whats the story on the one with custom packaging? Aurum?

ahh thanks, they are more addictive than transformers i think...well at least they are for now :) for me
that AURUM is my own little subline i group my repaints with, since they all have the metallic/gold look, ive kinda came up with a little backstory for them :) kinda silly but fun
that one in particular, i gave as a secret santa gift this year over at the octobertoys.com.
i took a standard black gobon, ripped a whole in the chest, added the gear. painted. made the header card (painted be me :) ) and packaged it all up :)
hes my pride and joy, and was sad to see it leave but glad it was going to a good home

thanks bunches, that was actually my very first custom i did....totally with a hot glue gun, no molding just gluing..then testores enamesl and clear coat.

Are you making these yourself, or do you buy them just to customize? The dye jobs on the clear figures are insane, especially the gradient dye jobs... great stuff.

so nope, not casting or anything on my own, but i am mixing parts for different looking builds and doing a ton of paintwork and dyejobs :)

i was fortunate to recently get a Sand Muppet Studios shell and head :)
so i tried my best to make a body to match up with it,

Also I have a favor to ask. Could you please see if you can find out what the dimensions on the joints are? I have been looking everywhere and I figure your a little more into the Glyos scene than I am. Making something in 3D that I want to print out and I want them fully compatible with Glyos stuff. the green moss stuff, is from the hobby shop, the stuff they use for model trains and such :)
and the pegs on the joints...
the large ball joint has a diameter of ~9/16 inch and the small ball joint diameter is ~7/16....and they are halved. connected to eachother with male/female connectro. dameter of the hole is ~3/16 inch.

Hmm I think were on different pages. Here's an illustration of what I'm talking about. I would think they would measure these in mm because of how small they are? I figure knowing the pegs dimensions would be enough and I could just mirror the dimensions in the female spots to ensure a tight fit.

Yeah I have two sets of gray Axis Joints I play around with my Buildmen pretty cool. My idea involves making the joints even smaller though, should be cool once I sort everything out.

basically. little robot type things with a huge backstory but toy-wise, each figure is made up of like13 or more male/female connective pieces so building possibiltiess are endless and most of my customs have either dye/epoxy/paint/hotglue done to them :)
