War for Cybertron Prime and Megatron (please feel free to critique it)

I put together my light box and played with my camera this evening I thought I’d post up these guys for your critique, and suggestions. I believe the photo’s are not perfect but I 100’s of times better than what I posted before so you can atleast see them in a better light. Feel free to comment how you wish. These guys are pretty much completed with just very little work to go. I will update with the alt. modes later.
War for Cybertron Prime:
When putting this guy together I wanted a G1 feel but still capture the look of the WFC game. As in the game Optimus was a soldier before he was a Leader of the Autobots, and as a soldier I wanted him to have the firepower that he deserves.
I made another BFG for him as well as including his stock rifle, both weapons can be stored on his back mounted on the outside of each wheel. Prime will eventually have a shield using his hood/spoiler piece and a war axe that I have yet to have in my possession. So those pictures will be added later.

War for Cybertron Megatron:
As with Prime I wanted a G1 feel to him as well, nothing special added to Megatron yet. I am thinking of a way of making his battle mace though.

UPDATE;
Here is just 2 quick update picture of the new Battle Axe. All I did was drybrushed with steel, and aluminum and then a hit of testors dullcote.
I will post more pictures once I get the BFG remade but wanted to share the Axe with you all since I thought it looked awesome…especially after a little brush love.

These pics look so much better. They are still a little bright. Maybe darken them a hair or two. But these are so much better to see the detail in them. Nice job man.

Thanks guys...Gonna play with my camera and light settings more today and play around with an editing software and see what can be done to help them more. I was thrilled last night when I got the pictures to turn out like this...Thanks Steve for the thread on the light tent! My pictures looked tons better in a few minutes of reading that post.

I agree man! It weighed on my mind that I wasn't visually show how these guys really looked. I went over the light tent thread...made adjustment to the camera...built the light box and hot damn. Finally good pictures. I can probably do even better but I will play with things later.

You know, that's the hardest part for me as well. When I first started doing customs, it was for me. Because I wanted the figure to better represent what I was seeing on TV. Again, the pictures look GREAT and prime's BFG's are awesome. I'm glad my light tent thread helped. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty impressed with how the pictures turned out...I have plans on putting Megatron up on Ebay right now, Prime may stay in my possesion for a while. I have some other things going for this one. I have to finish up the shield and get everything squared away for it and get my war axe in.
I have been eye balling him and its funny, I love gundam stuff to and this Prime looks a little gundamish....IDK he is my favorite so far.
I really hope with the WFC 2 game in development that Hasbro will push to create more of the games figures. Besides the G1, classics, and generations line the WFC figures these have all been just awesome and well thought out. Some of the new reveal the shield such as Kup and Jazz for example have my attention.

i love what you've done to these two jazz, they are such an improvement on the base colours, and look so clean and detailed! i'm loving prime's guns too, don't forget to post more pictures once you've done his shield and gotten his axe. can't wait to see them :D
and i love the silver on megatron! it looks so smooth! makes me want to rub him!

Thanks man!!! The better pictures really help for real...I am hoping Prime's Axe will be in the first of the year.
Last night I hit these 2 with Testor's Dullcote and man do I love that matte finish!!! Anyways, the shield is about finished...when I get back in a few weeks Meg's may be up on eBay so if you want to rub him...bid to win and you can rub him all you want LOL.

Your figures are fantastic. The only comment/suggestion I have is on Prime's gun. I think it would look better if it were all black, instead of the red and black. It would be more g1-like. Other than that the colors and detail definitely pop out at you and show a master's skill! Very well done.

Thanks man....true about the gun, when it came down to it I liked how it looked visually with Prime. Here in a couple weeks when I get my casts back of the gun I will do one up black just to do it. Thanks again man welcome to Procustomizers.com!!!!

Long story made short about the BFG, it was taken by someone I thought was going to make a mold for me but took it and my money. Lesson learned is all I can say.

FYI I have had some questions on the axe it is Corbot V WAR AXE, all I did was re-paint the axe (not the blades).
