Hi guys, this is my first ever customization. Sorry for picture quality.. Don't have time to built a proper light box yet. Comments and critics are most welcome. It's actually not 100% finish yet, Only minor repaint on the grey plastic part and change the head lead to blue. (thanks to everyone for the info).

Awesome stuff man! If you don't have the time or materials for a proper lightbox, neither do i dude, try putting a single color background up. White or grey usually work best.
Lookin' good! What were you doing for the chrome effect on the grill?

Everything looks very cleanly done, even the little details you added. Great work for your first custom. I hope to see more of your work here. :)

Solrac333 - Thanks dude..Yes, this is my first custom, never done anything like it before.. but I DO read and do a LOT of research and view a few sample of others customs pic and movie CGI pic before i start the job. Visualise on how it should look like and just let the hand and eye do the job. ( It takes me 2 weeks to visualise, and 4 days to color)
Kiwiprime81 - Here's how I do the chrome effect.
(you can try this on any toy scrap first)
step 1. color the part with silver chrome for 2 or 3 layers.
(oh..i forget to mention, i use mr.hobby acrylics silver chrome) not yet test with enamel color. sorry.
step 2. let the color dry. best you let it dry for 1 day.
step 3. Find a thin cotton cloth.
step 4. using your fingers, rub the cloth on the parts that your want the chrome effect. rub it the way like you're cleaning the surface of your iphone or pda's.. apply a little pressure.do until your eyes tells you that you've done enough.
step 5. clear coat.
Hope this help. I'm still a nOoB.. and i dont know weather this method is correct or not, but it's good enough for me because i don't need any airbrushing. Good Luck!

Looks very good. How long it take you from start to finish.

Steelbus36 - Hmm..Let me see.. I do the paint at night only since at day time I'm working, and it takes me around 7 days (about 3 hours per night) to really finish repainting the grey part with weathering, touch up and detailing. add another 15 minutes to do cleanup and another 5 minutes to change the led. So I spent about 21 hours and 20 minutes.. for a minor repaint.

Thanks for the tip on the chrome! I'll try to do something like that as well. :)
BTW 21 hours for a repaint like this is not bad. I spent like a month and a half working on and off on my ROTF OP. :yay2: <-- LOL i've always wanted to use that one.
