Man, I used to be obsessed and waste a lot of time with Everquest and Everquest 2. I was in my photobucket account this morning and ran into these old screenshots. They bring back memories of many wasted hours in front of the PC collecting pointless treasures.
This is me in Everquest 2; I was a gnome Shadowknight, played heavy PVP and was involved in daily raiding and PVP hunting. I actually talked a lot of shit on this game (what a surprise) The coolest moment in the game was a rival Shadowknight (from a rival guild) who also talked a lot of shit...He "challenged" me to a duel. We set a time and place (zone) to meet. My guild was busy raiding an "instance", so I rolled over to the dueling spot SOLO, I arrived to find this guy and his entire guild (about 100 players) in a giant group. They formed a big ass circle around the 2 of us, it was expected that I lose and players can flame me forever that I talked too much shit. but, when someone counted down 3,2...1, and we dueled... I fucked him up, bad. I killed him.

This is a screenshot from the original Everquest. I prided myself on a lot of quests, where I was either the all-server or local server FIRST for completing various quests. One quest took about 8 months to complete, and I spoke directly to the developers daily about my opinions on the quest. It was for a weapon called "greenmist" which 99% of the players thought was only a myth.
