I've had this thing listed on ebay twice and both times it didn't sell. I was wondering, how I could improve it and see if I can get any bids. Critique away fellas.

Really, Only flaw with the figure, in my opinion, is the swords were unpainted, and some flames were not pinstriped while others were. Your pictures may be what is killing this auction. Some are overly bright, and others are blurry. They seem fairly unprofessional. Those are my only problems. What price did you start it at? Seems it would have sold.

Go buy a $5 retractable antenna from Radio Shack and watch FR's tutorial on adding chrome exhaust here (http://www.procustomizers.com/showthread.php?t=1801). Takes ten minutes and makes a WORLD of difference.

I think the only problem I have with it is the paper flames on the cab and sleeper. They kind of stick out like sore thumb (different sheen, color, etc.)

Also, I agree with stixx about the pictures. Take the time to make a proper setup and you'll be surprised how much more professional you'll come across to potential bidders/customers.

Start with better pictures. The one's you've posted are out of focus, some are overexposed, some underexposed. When photographing your work, it's very important to take a ton of shots and then edit them to make sure you post the best ones. Focus and exposure issues automatically disqualify a picture. Give that a shot first.

You did basically what I did to mine but without the metal smoke stacks.
Just a heavy detail job to make the figure look more how it should.
In other words, you turned him into a "premium" edition. Unfortunately that's not enough to get more than 2 or 3 times the cost on a figure back usually. You'd be lucky to list it at $110 Buy Now and get that.

I love the little license sticker on the back, but hate the one on the front that seems out of place somehow. Also there is a bit of messy paint work on the area just above the rear bumper. Other than that, really nice and accurate touch up.

Now, what's really hurting this figure when it comes to selling it is the pictures.
The lighting and focus could be a lot better and give potential buyers an opinion on how amateur or pro you are as a customizer.
The more it looks like a poloroid on moms table, the less chance you have of selling it.

That's my 2 bits anyway.

I say it's the pictures too maybe the starting price too. Could also be that the ROTF customs aren't that interesting any more too on ebay.

To be honest, in my opinion it is the Photos and the decals. The decals are a distraction from the rest of the custom and the photos do not show the work you've done. Just listen to what the others have said and you'll sell him in no time!

Id have to agree with everyone on the pictures..and the decals. The swords could be re-done as well. My personal pet peeve is seeing factory plastic on repaints. Thats one of the reasons I have yet to paint this figures because I dont feel up the the challenge of repainting him and doing the flames. I wont do it untill im more practiced or find another way around it.

Ok. Thanks for all the help. I'm going to take new photos and figure out what to do about his flames. I can't afford F-R's stencil and that's why I went with this cheaper option. Most of the figure has been repainted and I see what you mean about the front License plate. I will fix the things I can and relist him and see how it does.

seeing how you can print out stickers, maybe try making decals instead also to see if they will allow the details on the sleeper come out a bit more as well. I'm not sure if you feel like trying to replace the stickers or not, but it's a thought. Also, you might consider clear coating the auto panels as well to help blend them together, if you haven't already done so that is.
