Bumblebee was completely disassembled and repainted in Flat yellow. I repainted all his lines in florescent red/orange . His arms and legs were dry brushed in Aluminum and Steel. I repainted his wheels in florescent red/orange I then did a black wash over the whole figure. I did the leg mod on him so he stands a little shorter and added a couple of small pieces of styrene to the bottoms so the legs wouldn't pop out when pulled on. Of course the red orange lines glow under the blacklight.
Let me know what you think C&C Welcome and wanted.

Looks pretty good man, did you do the leg mod? cause it looks like you did. Good luck on your auction!

Yes I did and then I glued little pieces of styrene to the bottom of each leg so It doesn't pop out. Thanks, so far he isn't doing anything and I have it started at $9.99 and I have a rerserve on it. I put too much work into it to let it go for cheap.

I know the feeling...my prime has 12 watchers but no bites starting at $25, crossing my fingers. I would still be happy to keep it but curiousity keeps me from holding onto it...gonna work on one for myself next since I learned a few things on this guy that should make the next one easier to do.

What's the point of a reserve? It's more a detractor then an attractor. Start the bidding at your reserve price.

I had a reserve on mine but went back and took it off because I felt that same way of it being a detractor.

I'll leave the reserve for now. If it doesn't sell then I'll relist it without. I think starting it at my reserve price might be too much. I have a $50 reserve on it.

10-30-10: I removed the reserve so now we'll see if he does anything.
