I don't care if it's not top quality writing, I don't expect that anymore. I'll be satisfied with alien robots destroying the planet, as long as there aren't any wrecking balls, fart jokes, leg humping.

When I want real Sci-Fi writing, I'll always turn to my Phillip K. Dick books.

I decided to pass on this one. I read too many bad reviews. Instead I hit my dick with a hammer and threw ten bucks in the toilet. I feel I came out ahead as I saved 2 hours of my life from being totally wasted.

It wasn't bad. The humans sucked but the aliens were cool. I liked the action but if you've seen Independence Day, then you've seen military jets VS alien ships. Still looked cool though. Combine that with Wickus from District 9 and you can pretty much guess what happens to the main guy. I still really liked the ending for some reason.

I am starting hate the trend of movies starting fast, but then cut away to "15 hours earlier"...Just start already.

The aliens were cool, but it sucked that the first three quarters of the movie were from inside the room with quick glimpses of the outside through a telescope. The ending felt out of place with the rest of the movie. They should of worked the ending in earlier and shown more of him fighting to save his pregers girlfriend. I also wanted to see more dog fighting action, too bad they couldn't get the rights to a real F-22.

Saw this in theaters. They can keep the entry fee, I just want my wasted time back. The characters were uninspiring, Took too long to lead up to any action, and then your left fucked at the end scratching your head wondering if they really meant to finish the movie or not.
