I went to town with a cool camouflage pattern/style, and added some ice effect to his wing's edges. Modified the legs so the tail ends of the jet are perma-fixed to his lower legs, raised the side fins up to give a more unique looking jet mode.

Beautiful Mike.. absolutely beautiful!
BTW, do I see you are making another Extinction?? Anything different this time around we can look forward to seeing?

Outstanding!! The camo is awesome, ice effects are super realistic. I'm not totally sold on the relocated rear stabilizers, I think because the F-15 is ingrained in my head a certain way. It does not detract from the overall awesomeness! This is definitely air superiority!!

He did make a thread asking for ideas, but there was never anything posted about how he finally did it. I'm hoping for a tutorial at some point. It looks amazing, however he did it.

I feel chilly looking at it. I still want to know how you did the hip mod and if it will look ok if I modify them but not paint them.

thanks guys. I will do a tutorial on the hip mods really soon. The way I've done it (here and on Skywarp) is a little different than seen in the past.
As for the ice/frost effect, I used a paint called "Snow Accents" which is water based and contains a thick white (almost paint like) acrylic and small beads/particles in it. Same stuff I use when adding mud and dirt, but this time, did some washes with light blue and left it white.
Simply amazed by your paint apps, couldn't get anymore perfect!

Yeah, the effects look great. It would be great to see a tutorial of the hip mod. I don't plan on painting my MPs. Will the figures look alright if I don't paint them after the mods?

Looks great man. I wonder how it would look against a partly cloudy sky...it'd almost blend right in.

OK! Now you're just showing off! That is the best looking seeker I have EVER seen! The subtle camo and the frosted look just makes it look too cold to touch! DAMN! It makes the one I tried to do look like I scooped it out of a toilet and stuck some wings on it!

Very cool Mike. Not crazy about where you put the rear stabilizers but still a kick ass custom.
