As soon as I saw this figure was coming out I planned to paint one in metallic G1 colors and one like this- just a metal robotic bug.
Since there was only one in the store, I did this first.

Though obviously the main color is gunmetal with dry brushed steel, there are actually 9 colors on this guy altogether. Mostly in small details.

I noticed it looks like a smudge of gold on the bot mouth. Must be the lighting though because there isn't.

looks immaculate man. Its hard to believe this is a scout figure. What brand paint did you use ? Can't wait to get my hands on this guy i have plans for him : )
