Anybody seen this company's work? I heard about him through a client, he's got an awesome ability to make anyone into an action figure:

this is great stuff. maybe for truly detailed G1 faces. can never get that grumpy look from Megatron...

Yeah I'm familiar with this company. The guy was on the news a little while back, about the same time as we were for his Sarah Palin figure. The equiptment he uses looks quite impressive, but I'm not really seeing any side by sides that are dead on. Not that I don't wish I could had the money and resources to get into rapid prototyping, but I think the outcome still comes down to the talent behind whoever does the CADS. Nothing against the guy, he seems cool, I guess there's a market for figures like this, but personally I think I can get a better likeness with some good old fashion sculpting. I'll drop a youtube link to the Sarah Palin figure we did- useing aves and less the hundred thousand dollar machine.
