G1 ROTF Autobot Blaster

I took a Transformers ROTF Brawn, fixed the loose joints and repainted it into Blaster. The Brawn figure was great in design and color, but I wanted to take it much further. Its been a long time since I've seen a Blaster figure, and I felt this would be the perfect figure for him to be reimagined in, seeing that the boombox is obsolete. I cleaned it, then put a few base coats of flat black spray paint so all the detail would pop. I used testors enamel paints, great stuff to work with. I kept with Blaster's G1 Color scheme as much as possible, with the addition of a green/olive tint to the vehicle mode to give it a real world feel. The hardest thing was getting in very tightly into the eyes to color them blue. Current I have place Blaster up for auction on ebay, like most of my customs you'll find. Enjoy.

The colors in the bot mode say Blaster to me. The green in the alt mode still says Brawl. I would have painted it gray.

I was debating that. My original options were to just keep it Black, but add gray to give a scratched metal appearance; Gray to match the bot mode; but i just went with the green in contrast to the red. I figured i would buy more in the Brawn mold to customize, the next will definitely have the gray alt mode. Thanks for the input http://www.procustomizers.com//images/smilies/smile.gif
