I have fond memories of the book when i was little so I really want to. Not sure what to expect though.

My only concern is whether or not to see it in Imax. Regardless, I'm there this weekend.

My daughter wants to see this (like every other kids movie there is) so I will hopefully get to it this weekend as well

My daughter has had this book memorized since she was 3. It was always her first choice at bed time. Reviews have been good, but there have been a number of warnings to heed the rating, as there are some tense moments. I will likely wait for DVD, that way if I have to shut it off, I am only out the $1 from Redbox, and not the $40 it would take for us all to go see it in theatres.

Just got back....interesting movie. not nearly as adventurous as I expected, but I did cry at the end.......darn good face expressions.......I would recommend it. My wife did not like it at all though.

just got back from this. Decent movie, definitely geared towards kids and kid problems (like the book) Clever directing and cool effects. My daughter (8) enjoyed it a lot more than I did. I would give it maybe 2½ out of 5 stars
