"The Dark Lord" Predaking

This seems sort of fitting, being October and all.

This Predaking will also have a huge morbid looking sword and a display base. I would also like him to have a throne, which I'm going to try and cook up tonight, made from styrofoam.

Anyways, hope you guys like him.

I just realized that his colors are very reminiscent of NemesisPredaking,is that who the inspiration was from?

well the custom was originally Nemesis PK, but i think i was stepping on some toes, so I took him, added dark and bright reds, more gold and silver, and gave him his cape, and renamed him

I don't think I love the cape though, but a lot of people will.

The cape just adds more detail to it,I'd love to see him sitting on his throne with a huge Predcon symbol behind him with his cape flowing over the arms of the throne.

thanks. the cape is something i really wanted him to have, when i decided to change him to "The Dark Lord".

Thw whole cape actually came from a cloaked 28 inch skeleton, that i picked up from food lion. So I think i need to trim the cape down, so it's no so massive.

Thanks man, i'm really glad you like him. I'm not going to get to the throne tonight, but first thing tomorrow. it will be made from styrofoam, roughened up, and painted black and gray, giving it a stone feel.

i'm also going to add some chains to him, maybe with a broken skull head attached.

Oh I am so gonna check this thread tomorrow,and I love the idea for the throne,it would have to be a stone throne to fit that big of a beast on it.

Man,I wish I could do combiners like you guys do,because I would so tackle Predking in a heartbeat!

u can totoally do it bro. my first kitbash was the ptitvite styled devastator. it was the stepping stone into kitbashing for me. and ever since, with every custom (usually combiners), i've learned and improved so much.

if i were you, i would gather the pieces needed for a devastator, and try it.

Thanks man,I want to get a few more customs in,and maybe a few commissions,and then I want to try my hand at a combiner,Devs is my all time fav combiner so he would be a great starter for me.
