Have been looking at this guy for quite a while now, and well, I just wish he was taller. Has anyone here had any ideas on how to do this?

you know, i was going around the ToyStore and...looking at SS, his frame and transformation is soooooo similar with a neo shifter... and even the frame..you just need to add some kibble and customize it....
if done nicely, he will stand a bit taller than an alternator/binaltech..

what do you think?

Not really sure what you are suggesting. I'm guessing you are refering to Starscream's frame and transformation.

I may be able to get some pictures up of the one I started a few months ago. I stopped work on him because his transformation into ALT mode was not going how I liked. I got him just a bit bigger than voyager size.

Would love to see this!

Jin Saotome modified the hips to give him a taller stance. I'm not sure how he did it. I tried to do it myself but it didn't work.

I do angle his feet down more so that he looks taller.

The only mod I can see is he switched the feet.

Yeah, I have no idea what he did. I asked him but without a tutorial, I just could figure out what he did exactly.

I did switch feet and angled them down a little. Removing the kibble makes him look slimmer. I did that Soundwave and put him in my Classics customs.

I took a good hard look at Jin's Soundwave.

I think I've replicated the mod.

It's actually pretty easy if you guys are still interested in a tutorial.

I sent an email to Jin asking if he's cool with me posting a tutorial about his mod.

I'm sure he'll say yes. I'm just following the proper channels.

Anxiously awaiting this tutorial.

How are the hip joints after the mod? Are they still tight?

You have to apply glue to the ball during the mod. I'm even going to include that in the tutorial.

Oh yeah, Jin gave me the okay, so I'll be doing this tutorial up after my afternoon coffee.
