Devastator head

I'm trying to mold a new head for Devastator and I'm at a stand still. I have never attempted to mold anything like this before. This is what I have so far. I know, right now he looks like he's wearing a Russian hat. I contacted Ptitvite on the 2005 boards but, I haven't heard from him yet. What would be the best way to go about getting this to look right? My problem is getting it from my brain to my hands. So far this is the biggest pain in the ass project I've ever attempted.

I use styrene instead of clay, and build it up a piece at a time. Takes patience and practice, I scrapped 3 designs before I found the one that worked.

The other post was because I was looking to buy one. I've decided to try this first and see how it turns out.
