View Full Version : How to safely strip enamel paint?
So, I've totally botched my first project by using too dark of a gray for a primer coat and a million coats of white later I still can't get true white on top and am losing detail. How can I safely strip the figure of the enamel paint to start over?

oven cleaner and a freezer bag is all you need i made a video.

sense the video i have done a g1 jetfire it seems to have zero effect on any plastic. I would test it first on softer plastics like transformers animated figures though. oven cleaner is the holy grail of strippers if you ask me i call it my magic eraser. sometimes it takes more than one application but the end results are worth the wait and time invested
Cool, thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try just as soon as I can get my hands on some oven cleaner.
