What do you do when you have a broken Windrazor and an extra Signal flare? Rip em apart and make Flywheels!

Jet:
Windrazor was given an alter back end and need side wings. He was based dark red with a light red over tone and red highlights. Panels where lined and his head was given a shiny visor.

Tank:
Tore off the upper body of SF and cut the chest section off. Chest section becomes a shield and the remaining plastic clump it the connection point. WR combiner connector connects to the square piece and makes the full body. Tank top is actually from a McDonalds Armada Megatron.
Painting started as a base black, then Bestial Brown, then vermin brown. It was then highlighted with fortress grey and various other details added.

This kicks ass! I was just thinking about Flywheels this week, and wondering how to go about making an updated version! Love yours, though the colors aren't as dark brown/maroon as I recall the toy was, but I really like how it pops!:D

paint apps look great as always. LOVE the alt modes. i'm with BH, if the red was more of a maroon color, it would scream WIN to me.

DW made him more red in the source book so I just went with it.

pure win then. gotta love the resource thread, it's so damn handy. i had never seen him other than having him in a parts lot from ebay, and never saw the DW version of him.

looks awesome. great combination. it looks like the one of the tires and windows on the tank need some paint. i dont know if u noticed. i know when i take pics, i see a lot of stuff i need to go back and fix.
