I used both acrylic and lacquer actually, like the final top coat is lacquer.

So the whole thing is painted silver... Then the yellow and the red are... high gloss transparent paints that are sprayed over the silver, correct? And then a coat of high gloss lacquer. Am I on the right track here?

yeap~ Here's how it goes... =)

plastic primer > silver > panel lining > clear yellow & red over silver > details > high gloss lacquer

If I think of it when I get paid next, I'll see if I can go find another for ya bro. oh, and this custom still rocks. So, I have to ask, what's which paint on here? What's the acrylic, and is that the spray type? I'm having a brain fart for some reason and aren't catching on..

Yes, they're all aerosol spray type. I was looking for Krylon aerosol paints at first but I couldn't find any at my local hardware store. So this is basically what I got, recommended by one of the staffs there. I went to 2 different shops and got different brands as some colors aren't available. I get what's available. I prefer the Samurai brand as the nozzle can be rotated vertically or horizontally.
I just test them on something else first before to the toy.

That was the last figure I needed to complete my Hall of Armor. Now I just need Kyle Robinson to make the Tony Stark I commissioned from him and I'm good. Really like what you did with it, I was just planning on spraying it with a few coats of Future, but I may just have to reconsider it now.

what kind of mask did you put on the yellow parts? is it Fawlk? or something else? awesome work by the by.
