Costs too high, products canceled, pushed back or just not there? Business practices pissing you off, or something not just being what you wanted it to be? Complain here, I'm curious what issues folks have.

I, currently, am none to pleased with Bandai and Kaiyodo.
Bandai:
SOC Big-O. Looks great, but too much for too little (around 120-135), and the expansion set, besides hard to find due to being a Bandai website exclusive, is also expensive (around 100).

Kaiyodo:
I haven't bought a Revoltech in a while, but the new Getter Robo stuff spoke to me. It's great, but the wrists are too lose in the right arm, and the hands don't quite hold what their supposed to quite right.

What about you guys?

For me, it's the same-old-same-old... anybody who collects Star Wars figures probably has the same complaints. I just can't find any new product. There has been a gap of at least 5 months where I have not seen a single new figure on the pegs.

I am starting to hate Mattel. I have tried to get so many of the MOTU figures but have failed each time even to the point of the page saying instock but when I try to add one to my cart it says sold out only 5 minutes after they make it available. >_< I refuse to pay scalper prices and think its ridiculous that they have a 10 per person limit. Its like they dont want me to purchase all the awesome figures that I remember from my childhood. I just plain gave up on them now.

I really dislike it when toy companies re-use the same old molds for new toys. Eg, the disney transformers series. 3 versions of mickey??! Black, red and halloween???!! That's just a sure way to milk as much as possible without being innovative. How about a Santa mickey anytime soon...

Dude. PM me.... I have extras of the figs from the beginning I think. I signed up for the membership so I get a few of each figure automatically each month. Let me know which ones you need.

Did you order a sub? We were extremely lucky with our orders and at this point we're only missing Man-At-Arms and Tri-Klops. We got a subscription so we dont have to worry about their ordering bull**** anymore, (with the exception of bonus figures).

My gripe is with Mattel and it underproducing DCUC wave 9, one of the few waves with mostly decent figures. Also making wave 10 a Wal-Mart exsculsive. And Screwing collectors out of Gleek with the wondertwins set. And all their other crap. I hate that I love their toys so much.

If its any consolation I just barely found Ares in my store the other day, distribution is so messed up here. >_<

Subscriptions? How does that work? I never knew about that. Thing is I dont want every figure released and hate when companies auto charge my card which I am sure thats what they do right? Link me if you can so i can check it out though, cant seem to find anything about it on their site.

here's a complaint, child safety laws and packaging. such great elements are sacrificed to keep a toy safer (look at all those dull tipped weapons!) and packaging, WTF - takes me longe to get Prime out of his box and twist-ties off then paint him.

Prices going up. I had no problem getting two TF figures for $20. But I don't like getting one for $13. Same goes for Star Wars figures. Haven't been buying them because getting to expensive or CAN'T FIND THEM! I want Darth Krayt dammit!

Good luck.

I mean, are the new comic sets that hard to find? I have 3 Walmarts, 3 Targets, a Toys R Us, and a K Mart in my area and NOTHING. If I drive 25 miles south theres one more of each store.

These three new ones must only be dribbling out into the market... even though I've seen them online, I haven't seen them anywhere near my area at retail. I have a ton of Target/WalMart/TRU stores in my vicinity... and they are all dry. Of course, it doesn't help that Hasbro packs the new sets 1 per case with a bunch of old crap.

I did, however, buy them online - and all three new sets are the shizzle.

I think the subscription purchases have closed. They only gave about six weeks to get one :( Basically you have to get every figure they release and it auto charges your card but you're guaranteed a figure. It doesn't include the bonus figs though.

BUT, they're still selling the figs for people without subs. You'll have to log in at 12pm like before.

Just came from Target...nothing :(

I did see that they cut their prices on TF's and G.I. Joes though.
