Anyone ever get involved in one of these? My family used to do these a few years ago until it got too competitive. Here are some of the pics from my pumpkin carving days:
My first year was in 2005 where anything went...I lost with brian the dog:

The next year was Disney, I won with Pirates of the Caribbean:

All on the same pumpkin mind you.
After that we had to make a pumpkin that reflected ourselves. So I took a picture of me playing the piano and carved that out. My wife's the one next to mine.

Anyone else do anything like this? I would love to see your pics...figured a bunch of us radicons must have tried their hand at this by now.

Wow, nice work there Moe. I usually do a pumpkin or two every Halloween just for fun, and because H-ween is my all time FAVORITE holiday. But I have to admit, it's nowhere near as "easy" as it looks. I tore holes in many a pumpkin, lol.

Can't find one I'd seen a while back. It was a pumpkin that had been put out too early and hard started to rot. Then the family carved a new one and set it up like the rotten one was a zombie chasing the new one.

Ima do one like this this year. Looks so cool. Mine usually look like Mike's, infact i think he stole my idea right there. ^_^ The Fiance loves to get into all the holidays so I think we will be going pumpkin shopping very soonish. She usually paints her pumkin since we each get one to mess with.

Awesome stuff guys, beats my attempt, I just made my pumpkin look like a scene of a homicide, with 70 stabs. o well.
More cool pumkins!
I just went to the store and picked up a few for me and the misses to carve up.
Here what we cooked up this year...

...from left to right is my wife's, mine, and my dad's. Nothing mind blowing of course, but I like the different emotions each of our pumpkins convey. :D Plus my wife and I painted some baby pumpkins too.
