What was that one-handed pitcher's name, I remember watching him when I was younger...didn't he throw a no-hitter? Damn, I hate getting old. :D

That was Jim Abbott and my customer took that piece to get autographed. I've got a couple pics of it.

Wow, that's a great story. If you tried that with some of today's star athletes, they'd probably try to sue you for using their image without permission, lol.

Thanks. Yep Bo started out as a 12" Nolan Ryan, but everything you see was sculpted except the shoes, helmet, bat, left kneecap:D, and under the helmet. Basically used that and a Sammy Sosa head as an armature to sculpt over. The customer who bought that also got it signed, but not a cool story from it. Guess Bo doesn't like his strikeouts memorialized:D

This is what I had to deal with starting out. Needed to remove the knee braces and resculpt most of the legs. Pics aren't the greatest. Did the HDR on them, but the lighting today stinks and since redoing the studio I don't have a good picture taking set up.

Had to redo the mask on the H.S. fig, redid the helmet on the Tech after the glue/3x accident, and stripped all the masks down to the clear plastic. Tried to keep the clear tabs with some watered down color where the back color would normally show through.
