1989 Cadillac Hearse

My girlfriend (pictured in the front seat) works for a bank, and had a customer that was going out of business and no longer needed this car for his job... so we bought it. It sucks trying to find parking in my area where we live (it's 22 feet long!) and it's great on gas - a whopping 12 MPG... but I love it.

It (was) in great shape, with only 70,000 miles on it 4 years ago when we got it. I did a lot of driving (40 miles each way) for a job I worked for a little while and it really took it's toll on my poor car... but I'm in the process of getting some much needed work done on her. And then when she's all back to normal (and I can save up a few thousand $$) I have some custom work that I want to get done on her...

But it's a great car for what we do. I played in several bands, so I had no problems putting all 4 of my 4x12 cabinets in the back, along with my amp head and several guitars for our shows... plus I was always in black/death/thrash metal bands... and rolling up to the club in a hearse was always a good thing.

Plus we do a lot of animal rescue work, and do a ton of adoptions at out of town locations, and we can carry numerous dog and/or cat cages with us.

HAH!! Love your ride man! I'll dig up pics later, but used to drive a '91 Corvette til I got t-boned, then upgraded to '98 loved it (note past tense). Now that I'm all grow'd up (boo hiss) I drive a '97 Jeep Cherokee and a'98 Isuzu Amigo. Lookin' at a CHevy HHR come the new year, but always eyeballing my next Corvette!:D

Everyday car is a 2009 Saturn Outlook, weekend car is a 2005 BMW M3. I literally get giddy everytime I get in it.

A 1995 Chevy Blazer. 131,000 miles, bad brakes, bad Egr valve so it always smells like gas in the cab, 4 wheel drive, and just a P.O.S all round. Nice burgundy/red with a silver. Suitably named "Ironhide" :D

Basically this but darker red and the lower half of the body is silver trim.

I envy you. It's a toss-up between a new jeep and one of those guys. I had a friend in SD who drove one and loved it. (it takes balls to drive an SUV in southern california)

Now that katie starts a new job (tomorrow) maybe I'll be leaning towards the H3...in black of course.

This car is my love,I got it when I was 16,it might not look like much on the outside but what's underneath the engine is what counts....unfortunately,when the gas prices began to rise back in 2006,I was forced to park it and it has fell into disrepair,I've been actively repairing it for the past 6 months.

I love the car to bits, for all its shortcomings, and yeah there are a few...:D
Mine's exactly like this one down to the rims, but it's black and hasn't got the rear spoiler.
