Ever since I started doing customs 2 years ago, my gaming has gone down a lot! I need to get back to my PS2.
With everything that has happened to me in the last month, I think my collecting of TF, Star Wars, and G.I. Joes has to slow down or maybe even stop for a while. Still can do some customs but I can at least go back to my gaming.
Anyone else here have a hobby that was replaced by doing customs?

Collecting DVDs. After trading in a couple hundred, I still have probably 700 at home. I got my first TF this past Christmas, and I've bought maybe 3 dvds since then. I will be buying the ROTF Blu Ray, though.

Interesting, buying DVD's kind of replaced buying CD's for me, and I'm a musician. But even DVD's have slowed down.
My brother-in-law just stopped by an let me borrow a shit load of PS2 games. Time to get to work.

drinking count? I honestly never go out on the weekends anymore because I am in the basement customizing :(
but I do like gaming, and I think I might be one of the worst gamers out there. I played halo once, and couldn't keep myself alive for more than a few seconds. One time, I threw a grenade and it killed someone randomly though. Quite proud of that.
I use my xbox as an outlet to get out some frustration, having gamefly, I don't need to waste $ on games that suck, if I don't like a game, I ship it back. I just started playing xbox, so it's nice to have a full library of games I am anxious to try out. It's nice to sometimes get frustrated with a custom, then go upstairs and slam out some metallica on guitar hero.
I have so many games here that are still in the wrapper. I recently decided to set aside an hour in the evening to gaming so I can get to them all....eventually.

I just recently got back into Fallout 3. Customs may have to take a backseat for awhile!

I just play WoW (Waorld of Warcraft) anymore. I spend $15 a month and really dont to need buy many other games. I did spend $60 on my B Day though for Arkham Asylum whic was well worth the price the game is excellent. If you have nvr played it give it a shot.

WOW and Arkham look interesting to me, as well as Halo. I'm not into gaming (no time!) but I find myself looking at the "code books" all the time. Great images and let's and outsider get a little peek into the gaming structure. I think the new Halo OSDT (?) is infiltrating my customs, LOL! I've got a Halo custom I'm about far enough along to post WIPs of.
I was a badass on Donkey Kong.......like, a hundred years ago! :nunchucks:

i was a hardcore EQ2 player for MANY years and countless hours, I think I racked up close to 200 days play time on a character. I was heavy into PVP, guild, raids, etc. fucking waste of time looking back ;)

The only online RPG type game I played was Phantasy Star Online for the Sega Dreamcast back in the day. I think I had about 100 hours in it, which is nothing compared to WoW players. I've got about as much in Fallout 3, now that I think about it.

Genesis, but the issue covers Nintendo, Sega Master System, Turbo Grafx 16, Genesis, Gamboy, Atari 7800, and Lynx. Really old issue. Before Super Nintendo too. This issue was really trying to promote the TG 16. It even has an article about Nintendo wanting to make CD games.

Which eventually became the Playstation. That's awesome. I wish I still had some of my old EGMs.

There's /gaming/, and then there's Warcrack.
I haven't replaced customs with anything, and I still /game/, but I will say that my son has replaced Warcrack (LOL, that sounds so horrible).

Yup! Nintendo's fault for betraying Sony. D'OH!

i love video games especially ones like tenchu, metal gear solid, silent hill and grand theft auto. Playing in online communities really interest me as well, but i put the system down to pick up the brush. Model building was my primary hobby game play being my second. For me video games only gave me a false sense of accomplishment. Also being a mediocre player takes me many more hours to finish a game than other people

That is really the only game my wife will play, and it's because in real life she drives like a grandma, so it gives her the opportunity to vent some road rage I guess. It's almost scary watching her play, knowing that I will be in a vehicle with her very soon. LOL

I try go get my wife to play that game. I'll be playing some serious road rage with cars flying all over the place and explosions and then I'll ask her, "wanna play?" She says NO and then leaves.

WOW (World of Warcraft) is probably the game i've clocked the most hours of playing, 2nd in line should be diablo 2 (old school game)
But after going into serious customizing, most of my time is spent on the workshop table, once in a while when i get frustrated or can't get the paint effect i wanted, i'll switch on some music(could be anything) and play some WOW, if all these doesn't help i'll ride my bike to town for some window shopping :D

Well, I simply have too many hobbies I enjoy: customizing, PS3 gaming, guitar playing/doodling, watching every single F1 race, attending concerts.
Each and every one of these had to make room and time though, since I became a father in August 2005 and again in December 2008.
I really give customizing priority right now and try to get at least 30 minutes of time for that after dinner or even 5 minutes before going to work! Sometimes I even take half a day off of work, since I have plenty of off days, just to get cracking at some WIPs
Besides that I often play a couple of rounds of Tekken 6 on my PS3, around 11 pm.
