I did this for my nephews 16th birthday. Years ago when he was into Pokemon he wanted a VW Bug to make into Pikachu. I remembered this and years later he got one. This was a quick project, the model was a snap tight and hard to find. Local hobby shops don't carry much selection. Anyway it turned out better than I thought it would. I think the tail and headlights make it. What do you think?

FAO had a real pikachu VW beetle in one of their catalogs.

I should have looked hard for resource pics. I ended up jsut useing my boys toys. At least now their out of Pokemon and into Bakugan.

Not at that long,but there is a Pikachu VW Beetle here in my town,it has a tail on it and it is street legal.
