So for my first foray into true customizing, I figured I'd take a TFTM Arcee and convert her into Nightbird, from season two of the G1 series. Swapped heads with a ROTF Chromia, and used some thin styrene and non-shrinking putty to form a ninja mask. Base coat of gloss krylon fusion black, drybrushed some areas with gunmetal, then did highlights with grape pearl, chrome yellow, chrome silver, gold, and gunmetal. Used mostly Model Master enamels. Then I printed some decals for the Hayabusa logo, suzuki logos, and GSX-1300 R. A few coats of future finished it off. I've attached some pictures of the real bike for comparison. Now that she's done, maybe I can get around to finishing that ROTF Leader Megs thats halfway done. Anyway, thanks for looking!
