Not everybody would consider this "art," but I'm posting it anyway. I'm a graphic designer/signmaker by trade, this is a relatively small collection of the stuff I've done.

yeah, I remember you mentioned this to me, I too did signs for about 10 years I think, through some of high school, college and afterward. I think if I weren't doing customs FT, I would finally start my own sign company, there's VERY good money in signs, hehe.

Working in signs also allows you to get some experience in a ton of different materials and stuff. You learn quickly how to get something done. I worked mostly on the graphics end for the companies, but often found myself out on the field or doing fabrication from design all the way through installations. (god I hate giant cherry pickers on windy days and setting up 5-6 tiers of scaffolding)

Luckily I'm at a computer 95% of the time. I do vinyl installs occasionally, and now that our newest production guy is getting the hang of vehicle wraps, I don't do those much anymore. I enjoy the wraps, though, they're a serious challenge and they always end up looking awesome.

There's good money if you own the sign shop, yeah. As an employee, not so much. :)

yeah, the last company I worked for started doing a lot of vehicle wraps, which really sucked applying...

What software do you use? flexisign? lol, I hated that piece of shit program...so many bugs in it, I used to send them emails daily about bugs on their program.

I kinda miss some of the graphics end of signs, but also am happy to not have to deal with vectorizing shitty artwork/logos for 5+ people a day.

I use a combination of Illustrator, Photoshop, and the sign program we use is called Omega Composer, by Gerber (makers of the famed Edge printer.)

And vectorizing those crappy logos is the WORST. Or when somebody wants you to print a 4'x8' banner using a 1/2"x2" jpg they found on the internet. "What do you mean you can't blow it up that big? It looked fine on my screen!"

Ha ha ha. Are wraps the bane of an airbrush artist's existence?

HAHAHAA!!! Well, I do all over custom paint jobs, from the body work to wetsand and buff, and it was always an inside joke about wraps and how they are lame!!!

I have some friends that do that and it is no easy task!!!

Really, the main advantage of wraps is that they're removable. All of our wraps are for advertising purposes as opposed to custom graphics. I doubt you'd want to airbrush a ton of text and logos and phone numbers and such.

Oh yeah, no doubt.....it was always a joke. I couldn't get paid enough to paint all that mess:)

Here are some illustrations I've done over the years. Unfortunately, these small pictures are all I have on computer, one day I will retake photos of the ones I have left properly

Those are some fantastic designs and work formula93. I am working on my Graphic degree right now and up to my neck in various logos and packaging designs.

Loving that first kid illustration Mike, gotta hell of a lot of depth to it and the style of it all is great.

Hello! My name is Altitron, and I have been providing fans and friends commissioned artistic services for quite some time. As such, I would like to advertise my services to anyone of the Pro Customizers boards.

I am currently employed in the United States Navy overseas in Japan with our newborn son, so I have to admit: I may be slow when it comes to your work. But make no mistake, I am an obssessive perfectionist when it comes to my artwork, and I strive to exceed the vision of the customer by any means necessary. Whether it takes 10 hours or 100, you will get what you paid for, I guarantee you that!

Here are a few examples of some of my past works:
