Jesus, the New Halo comes out today and my SOn (whos almost 6) Is gonna drive me nuts to finish this with him. I know its bad but my son has been playing Halo since he was 4. He's pretty damn good at the game and a great teammate online lol.
My poor Computron! I must juggle both.

I hear you! I love ODST... it's keeping me from finishing/starting a couple of commissions on my desk right now.........but the game is SO SICK

GREAT GAME. But Like I was telling Tony, I could have gone withought the love story BS, bleh. But it was fun, I shall beat it again on Legendary this weekend.

Yeah I have been playing a lot the past 4 days. Beat it on Legendary and I now have 4 Vidmasters left till Recon Armor.

I didn't mind the love story all that much. After all, Halo is essentially one big love story. :P

This game is awesome. Love that your not as strong as a spartan, makes you have to think and find areas where there are set ups with snipers to peg em all out instead of trying to gun it.

Is it more of an online game or is there a campaign mode? If there is a campaign, how long did it take you guys to beat on normal? I’m more into the campaigns than online play.

Moe, it's really both. There is about a 8 or 9 mission-long campaign that you can play solo, or with 3 friends over Xbox Live (or via system links or on a single console, which I'm sure you're aware of).
I didn't play the campaign on normal, I played it on Heroic. It took me about a week or so of off and on playing to beat the campaign mode. However, I am what you could call a 'veteran' Halo player, so... it would probably take someone new to the game a bit longer to beat.
The really great thing about ODST is that there is a new mode to play called 'Firefight', which is kind of like Gears of War 2's 'Horde' mode (if you have played that), but much more expansive. In Firefight, you or up to three friends face wave after wave of increasingly more difficult Covenant forces in an attempt to attain the highest score possible. There are 5 waves per round, and 3 rounds per set. Each concurrent set nets you a larger score multiplier - but to offset the multiplier, 'skulls' are activated upon completing rounds and sets to make the game more difficult. For example, when the Black Eye skull is on, you can only regain stamina by meleeing enemies. When the Mythic skull is on, your enemies' health is doubled.
It gets pretty insane...
