Still working on this :order: ,but here TFTM Bumblebee.

replaced the yellow w/ paint that i forgot wat name it is :confused:
Metallic Blue Flake on some parts..
Flat Aluminum(:confused:)on RObo-PaRts
Acrylic Black for some black lining...

and FLat Red:confused:


GOnna clear-coat him when i have the time....

I like the color, but it looks like you could have thinned down the paint and put on more coats that were thinner, giving it a smoother surface.

yoh one question how can iremoved the paint that i already applied w/o using hazardous materials or going to hobby stores and buy thinners. TNX in advance!

Dip the figure in 90% Isopropyl alcohol. It should help to strip the paint.

The detailing is pretty good but I agree with the other poster - the 'metallic yellow' paint looks a little textured, giving it more of a matte look (at least in the pics) instead of shiny yellow like it's supposed to be. I appreciate the intention of giving the figure a more striking metallic yellow color but if you can't get a perfect gloss coat, I say just leave the yellow unpainted and just add a shiny coat of Future. :)

Dip the figure in 90% Isopropyl alcohol. It should help to strip the paint.
Just keep the alcohol away from the clear plastic parts, it tends to dull them down. Also, prolonged soaking of the clear can make them brittle. A lesson I learned working on Sideswipe, that I am now goingto post in the "What I Learned" thread.
