I am really disapointed in how my images are turning out.

I've followed the lightbox tutorial, but it seems my images are just blah.

Any tips?

Try putting your figure in one position then take alot of pics at different angles. Also try it with and without the flash. Then pick the ones you like and don't like.

Hey,

Here is what im talking about.

Would adding more lights soften some edges etc?

They just look Blah....

Im picking up some Black Bristal Board tongiht for the backdrop and maybe a new lamp.

tripod. no flash. practice....

what kinda camera are you using? and on what settings?

and why do you want the edges softer? sharper images show more detail.

Ya I posted a Star Wars Fig in the Showcase section. The pics looks far better than before. Really getting the lighting I like now.

Still need some practice on posing etc, But it all comes with time and repetition.

Way to go! Glad to see you were able to work it out. I see far too many customs that get posted with very poor pics, and for some reason, the customizer never does anything about it. Good job!
