Classics 2.0/ Universe Roadbuster w/Bonus

Inspiration for this customs goes to Satomiblood and SMOG.

Bot Mode:
The bot mode was heavily modeled after the More Than Meets the Eye Guide Book IDW just came out with. I was going for big and gaudy for the main gun and the smaller gun doubles as the missile launcher and a sidearm. The gun rack becomes a back storage that both guns can be stored on. The hands came from TreadBolt too. I had to dremel the forearms a bit for them to fit and they are snug but movable.

The head was also from TreadBolt. I clipped the sideguns off and attached some parts and pieces to make it more look like Roadbuster.

Alt Mode:
Most of the extra parts came from a Universe TreadBolt both guns and the storage top/ Gun Rack. Even thou it's hard to see there is a antenna array on the driver's side windshield. I also sanded off the star.

I really love this but I see some changes I am going to make really soon. And they are painting more of the vermin brown onto more hood surface area and drybrush the two metal ram bar like things either silver or more vermin brown. I think the small area of the painted hood is just to bleak and meh. I have already started these changes as I type this so a revision will be posted soon.

And sadly but happily this is my last hand painted TF custom. I will be doing some G.I.Joes here soon also but they will be hand painted.

The actual figure base Crossover Cap really isn't that bad. With a few mods and changes he can be changed into a number of Characters. I might a off-road like Optimus Prime from this.

I can see where your coming from. And even in truck mode the huge cannon on the side nag at the back of my skull. I wish I had a stock or cache of G1 parts and weapons that would work if they fit.
