Video Game Fighting Movies.

Finally saw that DOA live action movie. I heard it sucked but I kind of liked it. I can see why it's not great but it was fun. I enjoyed it the same way I enjoyed Mortal Kombat 1. Also watched Tekken. I liked that one too. I can't expect much from video game movies but if they at least remind me of the game, then I am happy.

I always find these a bit disappointing; but that's maybe because I've only seen Street Fighter (is it me or was that really camp?) and MK. I'd rather watch a decent film with some decent fighting, like Ip Man.

Yup, that's the one. In the movie, I liked the chick that played Tina Armstrong.

Nothing beats Ip Man.

Ip Man 1 and 2 were both amazing. Donnie Yen has come a long way.

Ip man films where awesome! but because i do wing chun, i kept shouting in my girl friends face "i can do that shit, WATCH THIS!" which i can imagine gets old real fast...

These kind of movies are what they are: mildly entertaining, although DOA is more entertaining because of the girls. A few days ago, SF:the Legend of Chun Li was on tv... major suckage :rolleyes:

I also prefer watching quality fighting movies, really love the Asian movie scene. Still have to catch Ip Man, though.

lol yes there is an ipman2... its streaming on netflix if you have it. its possibly better than the first one.
