This is the first Star Wars figure I have been commissioned to do, and I owe it to my brother Paul (Speedleecustoms) for sending the client my way.
This ALSO marks the first time I have completely sculpted a figure, and I am rather embarrassed at how long he took me to be honest. I learned a LOT from him though, so moving on I think he will help me improve even more in sculpting work to come. All in all Im pretty happy with the way he came out, and the client couldnt be happier.
This Jango started as a Takara Microman figure, which for those of you unfamiliar with the figure is essentially a nude torso. So everything you see save for the helmet, head, belt/blasters, and the rocket pack, is all me. He comes with 6 different sets of hands, 30 points of articulation (which are only somewhat limited by the sculpt over) removable helmet, custom mounted head, and a back pack held on by rare earth magnets.
I want to say a special thanks to Sith_Fire30 too for writing his blog the way he does. I in NO way claim to be anywhere NEAR that level, but the way he shows his process is a VERY nice tool for those of us just starting with heavy sculpting work. If you havent checked out his blog yet, do so!
Now for the pics...
