very cool work, but I don't understand why prime would TF into a wheelchair. Would be cool if it were a generic scout sized bot and it TF'd into Chip's wheelchair ;)

I'm just being overly critical.. I see prime, but I also see a windshield and grill (from a truck) which signifies Prime, but I think the head alone could convey Prime, and the chest could be more generic.
No love for Chip...

Hi, I'm Mr.X and I'm the creator of Wheelchair Prime. I got the Idea for this about six years ago. My friend and I were discussing Transformers and we were talking about vehical modes we'd never see. One of those Alt modes was a wheelchair, so I got to thinking maybe I could build one. Not as easy as it sounds.
First of all, I went through a few prototype designs before I found something that worked and I had to find my materials where ever I could. Mostly from yard sales and flea markets.
I didn't intend it to be a Optimus Prime Wheelchair ,but sometimes you have to work with the parts availabe to you and the prime head was the only one I had (At the time) that was the right size and had good detail. As for the grill and windshield, I just thought "What the hell" and added them just for the heck of it. In fact after this one I made another that was completely Optimus Prime inspired. This one however dosen't have a windshield or grill(If you want to see it, I'll post pics later).
Its funny you guys mentioned Chip because I had completely forgotten about that character.
If I ever do another one I may do something more generic.
