Looks awesome! I like the way they did Hulk! I was a little disappointed in MarkRuffalo as Banner, but it may work out.

This looks like it will be the best comic film for sure!

it might be the best ever.
If DC were smart, they'd make a movie to compete w/ this. Justic League done properly could be a much better film.
Shame about hulk, he's cycled through bana and norton and now this guy. I think a lot of the fans are happy to see the other actors remained as their character.

I'm still pissed that Norton is not Hulk. The CG Hulk did look like Norton's Hulk though.

The only thing missing from the trailer is the scene from the Disney-con preview, where Loki is talking to Tony Stark & says "I have an army!", to which Stark replies "We have a Hulk." Then it cuts to Hulk raging and tearing shit up.

Can't wait to see this!

definately. i'm a big fan of ed. norton's hulk, but after seeing the movie, i couldnt see that working at all. Ruffalo is my favorite to date now for sure. sealed the movie for me.

Yeah, the overall movie was just OK for me. If the Hulk was not in it it would have been a bad movie IMHO. I think it suffered from WAY to many characters and not enough time to develop their personalities.

I loved it, hands down loved the clashing of their pesonalities in this one...I felt the story was well wrote and again I can't say enough about it but the cast is brilliant. I left pumped fo the sequel to this one, I just hope the redo the Ironman title in 3D if possible. Anyways the Hulk was awesome in this...and the humor was spot on mixed with the action.

Saw at midnight on Thursday, then again last night. I love this movie! Z, sorry dude but, that's what the 5 lead-in films were for. They were the build up, this was the money shot!

Also, as far as I'm concerned, Avengers was Marvel setting the piano on fire, walking off stage, and telling DC, "Follow that!"

Loved this as well. I agree with hotwire, the main characters' own movies were the build up for this one. I think Whedon and his team did a damn fine job balancing out this film, with so many lead characters. Hulk really stole the show, but once again RDJ performs excellent as Iron Man/Stark. Not only was the action a-ok, but the humour as well. Man, me and my friends really had a blast.

The oneliners and wisecracks are already among my favourites of all time. "Puny god" will go down in history alongside "I'll be back" and the likes :D

Loved the end credits scene as well, although I've heard there were actually two?

I'm not very schooled in the Marvel universe, which I think is a plus. I mean, I can't watch anything new from Star Wars without sructinizing it to bits you know. I'm sure quite a few Marvel fans will have gripes about this film, but what I've learned is that you can't please everyone :).

The 3Dfx for once didn't give me a headache and were well placed. Safe for the scenes where A was talking to B, while A was filmed over his shoulder.

Änd this

"Also, as far as I'm concerned, Avengers was Marvel setting the piano on fire, walking off stage, and telling DC, "Follow that!"

really made me smile, Hotwire. I'd like to see how TDKR fares against this unstoppable force of superhero madness!

I'd love to see it and my son is a superhero obsessive (yeah, that's probably my fault). The trouble is the film is rated 12A which means over 12s unaccompanied, or with parental guidance if under 12. Would any oid the dads here consider it suitable for a mature 6 year old?

It's actually more tame than the Transformers films. There's no sexual stuff, the violence is stylized, and I think the worst cuss word is "son of a bitch". He should be fine.

I was finally able to get out and see it with the wife and daughter of course and I could NOT have asked for a better movie! The Hulk stole the show, he REALLY has something against Asgardians doesn't he? Him and Thor, and his redecorating with Loki! One liners were great, but one of the BEST scenes for me was the fight between Iron Man and Thor, when Cap steps in and Thor brings the hammer down and is blasted back, my 9 year old who has NEVER read Captain America or seen the movie, out of the blue shouts- "Ya DON'T Mess with the shield!" My wife and I and the people around us busted out laughing! It was funny coming from her. If you get a chance, see it in 3D it is DEFINITELY worth it! Will be seeing it again!
There were two scenes, one at the middle of the credits with the next villian, and at the end with them eating at the Swarma restaurant. That was a great scene because it makes them look human and down to Earth.

Of course, I don't think it even needed to break record sales for that to be confirmed. Just the die-hard comic fans from the past 30 years would've been enough demand to make that happen.
