This is my entry for the Sector 70 minibot contest. I gave movie Bumblebee an upgrade. Using a ROTF Jolt and just did a simple head swap and painted him yellow. I think this is my best paint job so far. I made sure everything was clean and perfect. Too bad it only got 3 votes including mine :( My Prime with foil wrapped around him did better.:???:
Oh well, I still love my Bumblejolt or Joltbee. :)

He's very cool! Yellow is a pain in the butt, you did great! I am using the Jolt mold for a custom too, hope it turns out this successful! Is that airbrushed or spray can?

Man, Jolt is a very versitile mold. He looks awesome, but one thing, is he stuck looking down? I removed that large triangular piece behind his head on both Jolt, and the Prowl custom I did. Looks a lot better, well, in my opinion anyways.

He is looking down but I filed the back piece and the back of the head to give more room. I didn't want to remove that piece. Plus, the rules for the contest was no major modifications.

Very nice. Is the yellow even drybrushed, just in like 3 layers to ensure a solid coat?

Great mold choice. The bulky proportion of Jolt makes it fit nicely with Bumblebee in a G1-ish sort of way. Great painting as well.

Yup. All dry brushed. I just make sure I do a light layer first all the way across the figure and then I go over it again until I get what I want.

I like this because the retractable extensions for Jolt's weapons is like a psuedo-nod to Animated Bumblebee. Awesome!
