Figured I should go ahead and post something I can actually muster the courage to say "I painted that." So have some Soundwave.

I didn't like his satallite's excessive lack of blue, so I fixed that. Besides that he's pretty much just drybrushing, though I think his silver parts could due with a second coating.

Did him up a couple kitbashes ago, but I'm gonna have to part with most of my customs; replacement computers don't buy themselves.

Thanks a lot.

I've got a quick question though. Since I just finished another Soundwave (which honestly just blows this one out of the water), should I just post it in this thread? Hardly seems neccessary to make a second thrad for a new Soundwave.

I like this one better.

Let's see...
Chrome
Gold Metallic Flake
Blue Metallic Flake
Red Metallic Flake
Gold
and Flat Black

All of them are Testors Enamel. The chrome comes in a spray bottle, and a good degree of it was painted on in an attempt to lay down a smooth coating. The rest was drybrushed. Yes, drybrushing with a spray paint.

Went more for show-accuracy over the missing blue.

Thanks a lot. I'm gonna havea hard time parting with it, it's just too cool on my Movieverse Decepticons display.

But I figure I can always make another.
