So, what do you think? Personally, the first two Tobey Spidey flicks were ok. Seems to me this reboot will be more serious.

Heh, a the first shot of the actor, I thought "Hey, a very very young Lou Ferigno" :p

Loved that first person pov scene, though. I'm a sucker for pov :D

Anyway, looking forward to this, hopefully we'll get a TF reboot soon as well ;) And while we're at it, the entire SW prequel trilogy too!

Meh... the CGI looks like it needs some work. The problem with reboots is we get the same story over and over. But I'll watch it anyway.

I'll go se it, but I doubt it'll outshine Spiderman 2.

Don't care for the POV, I wanna watch comics, not be comics.

Seems a bit darker, but that doesn't automatically make it more real/adult/serious/better.

That kid will never be a better Parker , Macguire was genetically bred from Peter Parker's DNA.

Big bonus points for mechanical web shooters though, instead of "organic/bio" web shooters.

It looks decent. I'll go see it.

Do we really need this reboot? Of all the comics out there that they could've taken stories from, they had to do this one, again? I'll wait for DVD, until they come up with a new idea. Re-hashing an idea that was just recently done is not always a great idea, I'm still bitter about Punisher War Journal. Dolph's version was better than that pile of shit.

I can't stand first person views in action films but I think it could actually be well placed in this film given that it is almost certainly going to be available in 3d. I can imagine that scene would be awesome in 3d, although in 2d it gets a big 'meh' from me.

I like it. And I also like the 1st person POV for Spider-man. Was no expecting that. I think I will like a more serious looking Spider-man.

CGI not really attractive IMHO...

I really liked the first 2 spiderman films, favourite villain = Doc Oct...

Let's see how this one goes :)

As much as I enjoyed watching the other Spider-man movies in theaters, I could never bring myself to buy them on DVD. I hated how EVERY villain had to have some sad story to why they are bad. So I can forget those movies.
