I'm doing a commission for a client,a Classics/Universe Brawn from Energon Strongarm.

He believes that the color of the green is too dark for him,he is basing this off of the G1 Sunbrow animation models,I'm slightly color blind to greens,so I'm not the best judge of character,so I'm coming to you guys for help, tell me,is this a too dark of a green for Brawn.

Here are the pics of the custom:

For the G1 figure your color is spot on, but for the animation model you may need to go a shade lighter. If I were you, I would leave your spray as a base, and dry brush the lighter shade over the top. This will leave you some great details, a hint of the G1 figure color, and bring in the animation color as a highlight.
Hope this helps!

It is BUT not having any yellow to break it up just intensifies it.

Thanks guys,I've talked with the client more about it,he's now leaning more towards the unreleased OTFCC art with a two tone green paint job, which would make fixing this alot easier.

dude, if you went this route I think you would blow the client away!!! It would add realism to animation...

Again, thanks you guys for the help.

I'm ran the idea past him about doing the lighter green drybrushed over top of the darker green,we will see what he thinks.

There is something to this Overhaulimus, interior decorators are paid to capture the vision of the home owner and enhance it, making them even more happy. This is what Encline is suggesting, and I think it has merit. Your job is to satisfy the client, but giving the client an unexpected improvement surely can't be a bad thing.:)

Indeed, you guys are totally right,I've passed some color ideas off to him and am letting him choose and then I'm gonna do the technique that both Scuplt-Bot and Encline have suggested to me,and again guys,I can't thank you enough for the help.
