I was hyped about it, as an old fan. After seeing nothing but terrible reviews though... I'm going to have to pass.

I saw some TV ads for it last week and thought hell must have frozen over. Surely they can't have actually finished it?! I know teenagers who were born since they started development on that game :S

After hearing Shinoitron say this was a good game, I got it for PC despite the bad reviews.
He was right on the money! It got too tough to be fun on normal, but the difficulty is just right on easy and the game is really quite fun! Totally a man's game though, as Shinobitron said. I'm about 6 hours in, have some awesome screen shots, and they take those tassels off, hehe.

i played this a little at my brother's house. didn't really care for it. it's gotta be a REALLY good FPS for me to be a fan.

It's entertaining, especially throwing turds at the start of the game (yep, I said turds). I got it more for the nostalgia, Duke 3D and Doom were the first FPS's I ever played, it reminds me of high school. As far as shooters go, it'll never be as big for me as COD, but still fun to play.
