saw this last night, i thought it was pretty damn good. Magneto makes the movie, IMO.

Hugh Jackman has a small appearance, thought that was pretty cool.

I cant wait to see Captain America.

We saw it last night, it was awesome. I've always been a magneto fan, his character was well done. What's particularly great about this movie is the huge cast - yet, each was well developed. Our favorite was Charles. Reminded me a lot of the younger Ewin McGregor...

Still, I hate Raven/Mystique. Something about that make up job (even with Rebecca behind it) she looks stupid.

i thought the same thing with Ewin McGregor. the actor who played Charles was great, hopefully he'll be seen on the big screen again.

yea, raven, it's like that had it "half right" or something. I hope they make another movie, branching from this and leading from Wolverine Origins.

I know they want to be comic accurate, but they seemed to try too hard. I think it's the scales or design on her that throws me off. I'd prefer just all blue, with long red hair.

this looks silly to me :

Saw this opening day, matinee, with my wife in the Cinema de Lux seating.

We love these movies. I got a kick out of how "Austin Powers" the young Charles Xavier is when he's attending Oxford in England. He's like, "it's a very groooovy mutation, baby" hitting on all of the girls at the pub. lol

Having gotten the grandparents to babysit my wife and I managed to go to the cinema for the first time in ages. PotC4 or Xmen? Out of the goodness of my heart I let her watch Pirates. Big mistake it seems. I couldn't even stay awake to find out how Blackbeard meets his end. Bah.

Just saw it with the wife. It was awesome. I actually did like Mystique. Thought was cute. I'm glad I did not read this thread before I saw the movie. I liked the Hugh Jackman cameo.

Nothing after the credits though.
