Here is one of my next projects on the list Wheeljack.
Doing 2 of these...one will be G1 Italia, and the other a Diaclone version. Looking forward to this project greatly since WJ is one of my favorites.

So, these are what, your 34th and 35th reshells? :D Man, you are on a roll! The Stratos was one brutal machine, as like the Integrale in the 80s. Great choice, I'm sure it'll look marvelous with all the decals applied!

Slightly off topic: working on my BB Mini Cooper reshell is so much fun, I've been looking into making another one in the near future. Gonna be a challenge, because I have my eye on this very slick Chrysler 300c Hemi by Revell (Revell kit #2091), which is 8.25" in length. This means I'll probably have to use a Binaltech/Alternaty figure.... :s

No man, not my 34th+ haha, but in the end it may be that many LOL. Thanks man...I feel I got a pretty good handle on how to do these now (its the RTS Jazz's thats a real pain right now, alot more to that build than thought) so once I get Prowl painted and decaled up I will unviel the next reshell commission along with WJ.
The Chrysler 300 would be cool thats a 1/24 scale right? You will have to use Binaltech or Alternators for that size. The Alternaty line is 1/32 I believe and would be to small.

Update...
I brought some work with me to Va while I'm outta town to stay ahead of schedule and I wanted to share two progress pictures updated photos in the first post. The second to last shows how much of the figure has been trimmed down, it still has a little more to go on the roof and bottom of the window area but the body is 95% ready to start reshelling it with the Lancia kit.
The last photo is just a picture of the kits cuts. I hve only two cuts per kit to do which are the sections for the feet that fold out (nose of the car).
The hardest part was cutting out the roof and surrounding window trim on the Lancia since the plastic was extremely thin.
Both these babies should be built and ready for paint in the next couple weeks.

Both of those are Porsche kits...also working on two Jazz reshells. I believe those will be the hardest to do also since the entire front end needs to be rebuilt inside the new shell...in other words none of the original body will be left on the Jazz toys just the structural pieces unlike other reshells which you may still have a sanded down or trimmed down body of the toy left to build upon.
