View Full Version : WFC Soundwave commission WIP

This is another commissions piece. Soundwave got a total repaint, with a custom mix of metallic purple, gold, chrome, and black w/ drybrushed steel. He will be sporting some custom guns, jet pack and a LED lit chest.
Soundwave will recieve a little panel lining and some glow in the dark paint details soon. These are just a few pictures of the progress. All three bots Soundwave, Prime and Nemesis Prime are his as well.

Thanks man, all of it's been done inbetween the plastic welder curing on the pieces to your reshells ; ) I'm getting better with my timing, and getting more accomplished.

As Ive said on FB, you have REALLY done this mold some serious justice man! I kept seeing it on the pegs and thinking they really missed the mark on this one leaving all of that plastic bare. Youve done an outstanding job of making him actually look like the awesome figure he was meant to be...

Update, put an LED in SW's chest picture in first post (thanks to frenzy rumbles tutorial) A few bits to do on custom weapons and this is done! Glow in the dark paints apps everywhere too on this guy.

Thanks man...glad i attempted this after seeing FR tutorial. I will be doing more projects with LEDs for now on. I was so stoked that my first LED mods worked right off the bat.
