WIP - Shockwave? No, a bit more old school

While just a work in progress, I figured I'd post what I have done thus far. This mish-mash of Energon Shockblast, Six-Shot, and Dropshot is destined to become an homage to the pre-Transformer, Astro-Magnum.

For those of you who post elsewhere, you may recall that I have previously worked with this mold before, for my 'Classics' Shockwave. Since I sold that one, I will be making another version of that one also, and while the Shockblast/Sixshot body will still be the base for that figure, I'll be doing some different things with it than I have before.

Astro-magnum will have a paint-scheme in dark-gray and gunmetal, with accents in silver, with sparing highlights in red and white. I still have a fair amount of tweaking and modding to do before I get to that point, however.

Thanks Solrac, I know you've done a bunch of these. I saved the pics of your gang of Shocky's (Shockwave, Shackwave, and Shockblast) that you made, which I really liked. Plus their "initiation" of Animated Shockwave was hilarious.

Anyway, yeah, it was a heck of a lot easier to just go ahead and remove the hand and the peg that held it, than it was to attempt something else. Besides, of what use is a left hand to the mighty Astro Magnum? It would only slow down his objective of blowing things into a million tiny bits :D

My original plan was to sell the two of the 3 Shockwaves but they looked so cool together that I kept all 3 :)...including the shitty Animated one. I only like him because of the G1 colors.
