Caught the matinee yesterday! Great movie. Loved the mix of Asgard shots and Earth action. They guy who played Loki was dead on great. Chris Hemsworth fit Thor as perfectly as Robert Downey Jr. fits Tony Stark. The little Easter egg scene after the end credits gave a lot on info! Also they hinted at Hawkeye as well for the Avengers movie!:cool:

The movie was more than I could have possibly expected, very well done, spot on acting the story was amazing and the visual effects more than I could have hoped for.

I think I might go back and watch the 3D version. lol

Yeah, you literally have to wait through 15 minutes of credits. Then it says "Thor will return in the Avengers", then the screen goes blankl.

At first i was like WTF? Then the bonus scene comes in. worth the wait. I'll call you later and fill you in unless you are def going to see it again.

I thought it was okay. It had some serious pacing issues through. A friend of mine explained it like the movie was in a hurry to go nowhere. I felt his redemption was rushed and unrealistic that he learns humility in two days, but I understand that you need Thor in a Thor movie.

Action scenes were great, with a few looking a little unfinished.

I will see it again, but it is no Iron Man.

I thought it was a good movie...some sections seemed blurry and not clear but overall great. Even though as Boggs put it as being rushed I felt the same. I'm really looking forward to the Avengers movie with everyone in it. I think that will be epic as long as the story is well written and they keep having these perfect actors play these roles. Robert D Jr as Ironman was perfect and the dude playing Thor was perfect as well. I'm anxiously waiting to see the dude playing Capt. America and how well he fits the part.

Saw it today. I thought it was awesome. It was pretty fast paced. He did learn humility very quickly and the Odin's sleep wasn't very long. Maybe a very dramatic Odin's nap. Over all, I did enjoy it. Natalie Portman is hot. :)

LOL @ Odin's nap!!! Loved it. Still tripping off of Holquin the grim being Asian. They did a great job with Volkstagg and the warriors three. Sif was well done, too. Going to see it again tonight.

I don't know anything about the comics but I remember seeing people freaking out about black and asian nors god. But I thought the gatekeeper was badass.
