I want to repaint my rotf vovager starsream completly but I cant do that with his rubber nose. How do you paint that knid of plastic?

I use acrylics for all the rubbery parts on custom transformer. Sometimes its a pain to get them to look the same if you cant find the exact color in each type of paint(I use Lacquers, enamels and acrylics).

i agree with tony,

if i'm painting with enamels, i'll paint the rubber part with acrylics, and once dried, i'll paint my enamels over it.

Or recast the part in a resin kit.

I have a black acrylic marker that I use for rubber parts too. Then I do my usual dry brushing over it. I need to find another marker. I think I'm running low.
