The weathering is well done. Not too much, not too little... you achieved a nice middle ground.

I would maybe suggest weathing the grey pieces a bit, like the pelvis, upper thighs, and guns, using a darker color. What do you think?

I was thinking of doing it with a black to signify like a grease or oil,but wasn't sure how that would look,right now there is the silver weathering on them and you can see them in person but not in the pics.

It is amazing how such a crappy figure can be made to look better with even a little paint. Hopefully, Hasbro will improve on the mold one day. Very nice touch.

Thanks guys,I really like this figure now,I had plans on selling him so I could get another Classics/Universe figure for my collection but now I like him too much.

He looks awesome! My D. Optimus Prime is now suffering from both gun and drybrush envy! Where are the guns from?:cool::cool:

They are from a G1 Headmaster Highbrow,the gun that can with him is being used by Hound,he looks better with it.

Hound is probably next to get the drybrush treatment.

Oh I know it can be made to look amazing,but I'm just afraid of messing the figure up too bad,I'm thinking of buying another one and doing heavier damage to him though.

SELL IT! Then you can make an even better one and keep that one. That's what I did :)

I've done a few more minor things to him,nothing to really take pics of,I did a few hairline cracks in his armor.

Once I get a decent lightbox,then he will be put on ebay.

Heh yea,it took some convincing from quite a few of you guys,I'm very glad that aprim kept pushing it,he looks so much better with them.

Lol yea,I'm working on the Megs right now,gotta get my hands on a 1/144th Gundam hand and the connector for it,so I can give Megs a proper right hand.
