This one was done just after the movie came out. I wasn't satisfied with DCD's offering(it's like they weren't even trying on the head) so I thought I'd make one that was faithful to the movie design.

Now when I finished him and stepped back I almost had to shoot myself. It looks that good. I don't want to brag, I've learned all I know about cloth and clothing from Glorbes, but this is almost too realistic.
This is my favorite custom that I've done, which is sad because it is also the most wanted by others so I'll probably sell it before long.
I used a MM Joker as the base and a sculpted head to go under the mask. The outfit is all cloth and the mask is as well. The hat was sculpted, I chose to make it removable since it was always flying off in the movie.
Let me know what you think.

I love this, and if you put it on Ebay, I will own it.
My only minor...and it's really minor...suggestion would be that the ink blots on the mask be just a wee bit darker.
Still, this is perfection.
Now, the obvious question. If you do Dr. Manhattan, will you be doing him..."au natural"? :D :D

I love this sooo much! The realism is killing me! Probably the best Rorschach I've seen yet. Ebay it........ and a battle will ensue!
I'm convinced when I do mine I'll be able to make the mask's inkblots realy swirl! I keep tellin' myself that! Hey....I can dream.:D

Actually Hank,I know of a way to do such,it's a heat activated ink, there are numerous costume people that are making their mask's blots with said ink.

Yeah, I know.
But I want to use both thermochromic (heat activated) and photochromic (UV light activated) as well as regular black ink for the static sections.
A couple clock timer chips to pulse a micro bulb (for heat) and a UV LED (for UV) and I think I can get a few different patterns to swirl into each other.
The thing is up until now, I was thinking plastic or resin for the head, now going cloth seals the deal!

Thanks, I'm beginning to see that cloth is the next step in customizing.

Thanks man, This is the most impressive one I've done, so when I auction it I got to do it right, I'm thinking maybe around the holiday? I don't know, but I'll let you know when it's up.
As for the inkblots, I actually did multiple layers, starting off light and getting darker, like it's about to change or just did, so I didn't want to make them too dark, it would look too static. I don't have any plans for any other Watchmen, but if I did Manhattan I might just do him in a suit to avoid any sausage fest action.

Thanks dude. Cool to see you on here man, it's been a while.

Thanks, the buttons were tough to figure out but I had to put them there.

Thanks man, when it goes on eBay, trust me, everyone will know about it. :D
I wish I could have made them move but any method of doing that was unknown to me.
