This was a fun project. I was lucky enough to get my hands (and paint brushes) on a VERY limited & rare crystal clear seeker (PITA to put together from scratch) thought I'd use the "clear" to my advantage and put a little creative spin on it.

Very creative FR!! This would look extra slick if you use the MP version of the mold! Awesome idea.

NOOOOOOO I was thinking of doing the same thing when I saw those clear seeker molds on KO.

Damn well pulled off sir. This is now one of my favorite customs of all time. I love the energy ripple that is on the edge of the paint to clear. :D

That is fucking beautiful.

Like Rodimusdawg, I also wanted to do this, but I never imagined it being this amazing... Just gorgeous man.

That is just so cool. I love the phasing effect. This should do well on ebay.

BTW, thank you for the birthday thread.

got me thinking, if anyone who reads this has the GOS MP Seeker, are the red/blue parts cast in tinted plastic, or are they sprayed with transparent paint?

I Love You. I absolutely love you. I wanted to see it done when these first came out. I love how it was done. I want to know though, did you use parts from an actual seeker mixed in with the clear ones to make it stronger, or just use the clear one?

Very cool! I love how the phasing effect lines up in both modes!

Effin-A Cotton! I think the best part is how well the "warp" effect matches up in alt and bot mode, if that aint out-of-the-box thinking right there, I dont know what the hell is.

Fascinating, the warping is really believable. The bright/fluorescent blue really make the whole figure come to life.

You know? I don't think it will look as good as this, but what if you did the reverse? Get a regular classics figure and painted the phased parts onto it?

Excellent work as always! I agree, seeing a masterpiece version would be epic. I also think a classics Mirage going from visible to invisible done in G1 style could be awesome too.
